80 Ball Bingo
80 ball is a bit of a dark horse in the bingo market. I say this because a lot of bingo sites don't even offer
it and to the best of my knowledge it isn't played in land based bingo halls due to the popularity of 90 ball bingo.

I really like the 80 ball game and it makes a refreshing change from the 90 ball game.
The image to the right is 6 cards from an 80 ball game I played at Bet365 Bingo.
As you can see each card is 4x4 squares. When the dealer is calling out the numbers, he/she will say the colour
and then the number. For example they would say "Red fourteen."
Usually there are two prizes to be won on the 80 ball game. The first is for one line and the second one is for
a full house.
The line bet is a little bit more exciting than just a simple line. As you would expect you can get any
horizontal or vertical line. Any diagonal line counts as well.
However you also win if you get all four corner numbers or the four middle numbers on any card. Because of the
different ways to win the first prize, you tend to find that it gets snapped up very quickly.
Depending on the time of day there are also prizes for two lines and three lines. This happens later in the day
when there are more players thus meaning ore money can be added to the prize pot.
As I've said on several other pages, the prize money of the game is driven by how many tickets have been bought.
Every time someone buys a ticket, their purchase adds to the prize money.
So Where Can You Play 80 Ball Bingo?
As I said at the top of this page, not many bingo sites offer the 80 ball game and this doesn't make sense to me
because I know for a fact that people really like it.
The best places to play it are Bet365 and Ladbrokes who are both in my top 5 bingo sites in the world. Both of them offer the 80 ball
game 24 hours a day (as well as many other games).
