Online Bingo FAQ

Lot's of people have lots of different questions about online bingo, especially when playing for the first time. Below you will find answers to the most common questions. If you want an answer to a question that isn't answered here, please get in touch via the contact page.

1. Which bingo site is the best?

There really isn't a definitive answer to this question, ultimately it depends on what you're looking for. My personal favourite is from the very well known gambling franchise Bet365 and this is because they have a very well rounded bingo site.

The deposit bonus is good (deposit £5 and get £25) and because the Bet365 brands gets so much exposure there are a lot of players meaning that new games are starting all the time and price money is always good.

2. How do I actually start playing at a bingo site?

When you're on the bingo site where you want to play, you will normally see a big "sign up" button on the home page. All you need to do is click on it and then fill out the basic information. After doing this you're ready to play.

3. How do I deposit money and is it actually safe?

First of all, yes it's perfectly safe, at lease at all the sites that I recommend. There are numerous ways to deposit money and numerous ways to be paid from bingo sites, read the bingo banking page for more details.

4. Is online bingo rigged to make people lose?

Absolutely not. As far as a bingo site is concerned, it really doesn't matter who wins on each game because they make the same amount of money no matter what the outcome, just like in a traditional bingo hall.

Think of it like this, before each game starts the bingo site sells cards to all the players and all of this money goes into a prize pot. Then as people win, their prize money comes out of the pot and the bingo site will keep a small commission for hosting the game and this is how they ultimately make money.

It really makes no difference to them who wins the game because they make the same amount of money no matter what. Online bingo is ultimately the same as playing bingo for real in a bingo hall, there's a chance of winning and there's a chance of losing.

Whether or not you win depends partly on how many bingo cards you buy per game (the more you buy the higher your chances) and obviously you need luck on your side as well.

5. How do you actually win?

There are three different versions of the game that you can play and each is slightly different. I've explained the rules of each one in detail, see the following:

90 Ball Bingo - This is the most common version of the game and is played in UK bingo halls and offered by bingo site.

80 Ball Bingo - Not many bingo sites offer the 80 ball game for reasons I don't full understand. It's an exciting game to play.

75 Ball Bingo - This is the game that is played in bingo halls throughout North America and it is also available at most bingo websites.

6. What would happen if I was in the middle of a game and I suddenly lost my Internet connection?

In most cases the bingo site will remember your cards and will just continue the game as if you were still there. If your numbers where to come up after you've lost your internet connection, your winnings will just be paid automatically to your account.

7. When a bingo site gives me a bonus can I just send it straight to my bank?

No, the bonus money that you're given is for buying bingo cards, it isn't for sending to your bank. You're basically playing for free when you're given a bonus because you're obviously buying cards with the bonus money rather than your own.
