Play Roulette Online At Bingo Sites

Some bingo sites have decided to give their players more game diversity by offering traditional casino games and roulette is one of the most popular games of all.

What I am going to do here is speak about what roulette is, how you win and then where you can play. Roulette basically consists of 37 numbers. 18 of them are red, 18 are black and then there is one zero which creates the house edge.

Below is a screen shot from Cheeky Bingo and a list of the different bets you can make. Quick side note - The actual game play is bigger than my screen shot, I've simply shrunk it down so that it fits nicely onto the page.

As you can see there are numerous different bets you can make which is what makes roulette such a fascinating game. Now let's look at the bets in a little more detail.

Even chance bets - The even chance bets are Red/Black Odd/Even and 1-18/19-36. They're called even chances because when you bet on them you're covering just less than half of the wheel (because of the zero). When you bet on any of them and win, you double your money. For example, if you bet £2 on red and win, you get £4 back.

Dozens/Columns - The dozens and columns cover 12 numbers each and they pay out 3x you bet. So if you placed a bet of £1 on dozen 1-12 and won, you would get £3.

Straight Up Bet - This is when you bet on just one number. If you place a £1 bet on a number and win you get £36 back which is great. However you need to remember that you only have a 1 in 37 chance of winning like this.

Split Bet - This is when you bet on 2 numbers that are next to each other on the roulette table e.g number 1 and 2. If you place a £1 bet on a split and win, you get £18 back.

Street Bet - This is when you bet on a row of three colours. If you look at the roulette table above you can see that there are 12 rows of three colours and a street bet is any of these 12 e.g - numbers 1,2,3 or 19,20,21. If you place a £1 bet on a street and win you get £12 back.

Corner Bet - This is when you bet on 4 that are next to each other and form a square. For example, numbers 1,2,4,5 form a square on the roulette table and thus create a square. If you place a £1 bet on a corner and win you get £9 back.

6 Line Bet - This is similar to the street bet only this time you're covering 2 streets with one bets. If you bet £1 on a line you win £6 back.

So those are the main bets that you can place. There are actually three different versions of roulette, European, French and American and each game has slightly different rules, bets and pay outs.

However I don't really think it's necessary to start getting too technical for the sake of playing roulette at a bingo site because it's not worth it, the bets above are the main ones and they will be enough to see you through the game.

Where Can You Play Roulette?

Most of the stand alone bingo sites offer roulette from within the software that they use. For example at sites like Foxy Bingo and Cheeky Bingo you will see a list of all the bingo games and then links to the casino games.

On the other hand, large brands such as Bet365 and Ladbrokes don't offer roulette via the bingo side of their sites. This is because they already offer multiple versions of roulette at their online casinos.

For example, if you sign up to Bet365 Casino you will be given access to over 10 different versions of roulette. The roulette on offer from a full on online casino such as Bet365 or Ladbrokes is also much better than the roulette from a bingo site such as Foxy Bingo due to the much sharper and quicker software that they use.

My personal advice is this: If you only want to play roulette every now and then, by all means play it at a bingo site. On the other hand if you want to play regularly you would be much better suited playing at an online casino.

Remember that once you've signed to Bet365 Bingo or Ladbrokes Bingo you also get access to their online casino from the same account which makes it very easy to swap and change between the two.
