Bingo Bonus Terms And Conditions

It's important to understand that when ever a bingo site gives you a bonus, there will be terms and conditions attached to it. Don't let the words "terms and conditions" scare you because it really isn't anything to worry about and complying with them is very easy.

What I am going to do here is give you a generalization as to what you can expect from these terms and conditions.

The first thing that is important to understand is that any bonus money you're given is for buying bingo tickets only, it is not for withdrawing. That may sound confusing to new players so let me make it perfectly clear.

When bingo sites give you your bonus money, you're allowed to use it to buy tickets. If you win money with the tickets that you bought you can then send that money to your bank account. This is why bonuses are good; you're basically getting free money to play with and hopefully win with the free money you're given.

Most bingo sites make it very easy for you to understand what money you can and can't withdraw. Upon logging in you will normally see three different balances which are:

Cash Balance

Bonus Balance

Total Balance

The cash balance is any money you have deposited plus/minus any money you've won or lost.

The bonus balance is the bonus amount that the bingo site has given you and how much of it is left.

The total balance is pretty self explanatory, it's the total of the cash balance and the bingo balance added together. You're allowed to withdraw any money that is in your cash balance.

Another thing that comes with bonuses is wagering requirements. You need to complete these requirements before you make your first withdrawal. You shouldn't let this put you off because they're very easy to complete.

Normally the wagering requirements are: The sum of your first deposit plus your bonus x2.

For example, if you signed up at Cheeky Bingo and deposited £10 and took advantage of the 200% bonus, you would be given £20 giving you a total balance of £30.

£30x2 is £60 so you would have to wager £60 before cashing out. It's important that you understand you have to wager £60 NOT lose £60, there's a big difference.

For example, if you spent £5 on tickets for one game and won a jackpot, that would still count as £5 towards the wagering requirements. This makes it very easy to complete the wagering requirements.

If you try and make a withdrawal before completing these requirements the bingo site will normally forfeit your bonus money and any winnings that occurred from using the bonus money you were given. This is another point that you need to understand, they will only take away winnings that were accumulated from the bonus money (in most cases).

If for example your original deposit was £10 (plus a £20 bonus) and you only ever spent £5 they will normally let you keep your winnings. It's only if your balance went lower than your original deposit and you started using the bonus money to buy tickets that they will forfeit those winnings.

If you try and make a withdrawal before completing the requirements they will warn you that you haven't yet completed them so that you don't end up forfeiting your bonus by mistake.

What I said above should only be taken as a brief guide as to how bonuses work. Each bingo site has there own set of terms and conditions and while they're all similar, they do vary.

Are Bonuses Mandatory?

If the above process sounds too confusing to you and you would rather just play with your own money, this isn't a problem. All you need to do is call the customer support team and tell them that you don't want a bonus.

Obviously if you do this there won't be any wagering requirements to worry about and you can cash out any winnings straight away. Although my advice would be to accept the bonuses because it's very easy to complete the wagering requirements.
